Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role requiring a PA or compact RN license and multiple specialty certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Care for a broad patient population with patient ratios typically 4-5:1
• Schedule consists of 3x12 hour rotating day and night shifts
• Holiday and weekend shifts are required
• Floating to other hospital units may be required as needed
• Must complete required facility modules prior to starting
• No specific charting system experience required
• Local candidates are accepted at the travel pay rate
• No radius rule applies for eligibility
• Permanent employees can only return as travelers if applying for a different specialty
• Holiday coverage is required as part of the schedule

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active PA or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, and CPI/CCM required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
