This role is responsible for managing and maintaining general ledger accounts, performing detailed flux analysis, supporting annual audit activities, and executing month-end close duties. The role often includes compliance and reporting duties specific to government contracts, with expertise in developing, reviewing, and maintaining rate structures for overhead, fringe, and related costs. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee the accurate recording and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. · Perform flux analysis to identify and explain variances in financial statement accounts. · Participate in annual audit processes, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. · Execute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. · Manage accounting functions related to government contracts, including compliance and proper documentation. · Develop and maintain indirect rate structures (e.g., overhead, fringe, G& A) to ensure compliance with government regulations. · Utilize Deltek Costpoint for accounting, project management, and reporting needs. · Leverage advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting. · Work in coordination with operations and finance teams to deliver accurate contract cost and rate information. · Ensure all processes are aligned with Department of Defense (DoD) standards and best practices. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. · Experience managing complex general ledger accounts and government contract accounting. · Prior experience supporting DoD contracts and compliance. · Advanced proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and Microsoft Excel. · Strong knowledge of government contract rate structures and accounting standards.6b250ea6-cee3-481d-915c-f7283f1b2f1b
