Overview Full-Time PM Restaurant Server- DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons, Weekly Pay ($12 + Tips). The role is with B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group and is based at the DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons. We are hiring for a Restaurant Server who can work PM shifts in Tysons Social Tavern. This position is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, adhering to health regulations and local liquor laws, and following brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Guest Service: Anticipates and responds to guests in a friendly, positive and timely manner. Provides the highest quality service and establishes appropriate rapport with all guests. Understands and follows the guest service recovery program and responds to feedback to maximize guest satisfaction scores. Serving Duties: Takes orders accurately, uses proper serving techniques, and is knowledgeable about specials and promotions. Actively upsells menu items to maximize revenue. Adheres to health regulations and local liquor laws. Follows cash handling/POS procedures. Side Work: Completes required side work including cleaning restaurant and server stations, coffee stations, coolers, vacuuming, trash removal, and stocking of supplies. Expense Control: Follows procedures when handling cash and processing financial transactions. Uses equipment properly and adheres to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste. Safety and Compliance: Maintains a clean and safe work area, follows procedures for incidents, and is knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures. Self/Workload Management: Plans, organizes and prioritizes work duties. Adheres to attendance, grooming/appearance standards, and attends required department and hotel meetings. Teamwork: Works with others to meet guest needs and supports other departments when necessary. Completes all assigned duties within or outside the normal scope of responsibilities. Qualifications High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired, or the ability to obtain certification is required. One or more years of previous guest service experience. Exemplary customer service, attention to detail, and ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment. Ability to speak, understand, and write English to meet guest needs. Physical ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds; ability to walk, stand, carry, and lift throughout the shift. Prefer one or more years of previous serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant. EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disabled. Availability: AM Shift and PM Shift. Breakfast Hours: 7am-10am. Bar Hours: 3pm-12am.
