Key Objectives & Responsibilities

• Ensure websites are fully responsive, fast, and optimized for SEO.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement creative digital strategies.
• Continuously improve website functionality and user experience.
• Build custom WordPress themes and plugins according to project specifications.
• Manage website updates, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
• Integrate third-party tools and APIs to enhance website capabilities.
• Optimize website performance, security, and accessibility standards.
• Work closely with marketing and design teams to translate concepts into functional websites.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure flawless user experience across devices and browsers.
• Stay current with WordPress trends, tools, and best practices to recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role in web development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience developing custom themes and plugins from scratch.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Related course work, Web Development, or related field preferred.
• Portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects and accomplishments.
• Certifications related to WordPress or web development are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with data-driven insights
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
• Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools a plus
