Position Details: - Start Date: January start for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year
- Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- Grade Levels: Elementary, K-5
- Campus Locations: South and West Dallas
- Compensation: Starting at $39/hour (commensurate with experience)
- Location: On-Site

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by a supervising SLP
• Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
• Support implementation of individualized therapy plans and monitor progress
• Assist with documentation, data collection, and preparation of therapy materials
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and school procedures
• Participate in supervision and training as required
• Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes.
• Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
• Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Qualifications Qualifications: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
• Active SLPA license or certification in TX (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfortable using technology for virtual therapy and documentation
• Bilingual skills and teletherapy experience are a plus!

Physical Requirements (Working in a School Setting): While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and move around in various areas of the school facility. The employee must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents both verbally and in writing. The employee may need to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and may occasionally be required to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Additionally, the employee must have the physical stamina to supervise and engage with students throughout the school day.
