Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst
Location : Carson, CA | South Bay / Harbor Region
Industry: Food Manufacturing
Work Schedule: In-office, 5 days per week
Compensation : $125,000–$145,000 base (commensurate with experience)

Our client is a lower middle-market, private equity–backed food manufacturer in the South Bay / Harbor region with several hundred employees. The company is undergoing a significant transformation, including facility modernization and replacement of legacy equipment with a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.

This is a newly created FP&A role reporting directly to the CFO, designed to strengthen financial planning, forecasting, and operational decision support during a period of change and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis across operations and departments
• Develop and maintain financial models, KPIs, and scenario analyses to support leadership decisions
• Partner with operations and department heads to analyze performance drivers, risks, and opportunities
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and executive- and board-level presentation materials
• Support CapEx analysis, cash flow forecasting, and operational finance initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A or analytical finance experience within food manufacturing or CPG manufacturing (required)
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ERP experience preferred
• Proven ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with leadership and operations teams
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Carson, CA five days per week
