Vaco is seeking an Senior Accountant for a financial services organization in Tempe, AZ!

Responsibilities include:

• Manage key accounting functions such as month and year end close, audit, tax, and full cycle accounts payable tasks

• Assist with Ad Hoc Projects and collaborate with team members
• Monitor and verify the integrity of financial account balances to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure all financial transactions — including invoices, payments, accruals, amortized prepayments, and other journal entries — are properly recorded and finalized on time for each accounting period

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting (Required)
• 5 years of accounting experience, handling AP in a fast paced environment
• Experience in NetSuite (Preferred ) and advanced Excel (Required)
• Strong organizational and time management skills are highly recommended.
• Salary $75-85k
