Job description ASSEMBLY/TESTS : Support GE assembly line & tests for SAE assembly / hardware issue detected
• Write and Provide: Work Order for assembly instructions on SAE module.
• Focal for engine tests investigations & support
• Provide Dispositions on : ENMS Tickets / SAE Concessions for SAE hardware issue (accept, reject, rework, RTV, SCRAP ...).
• Support of engine sick bay for engine returns (support of management of sick bay - POA)
• On site support for GE mechanics, technical or method question on SAE hardware
QUALITY : Follow and help to characterize SAFRAN incoming issue / SAE hardware damaged by GE
• Write and share: GE-Production Item with SAE team.
• Support identification of top Issue on SAE hardware + 1st level of analysis on site, share corrective action
• Be the responsible of SAFRAN quality rules respect on site. Support/follow PQAN submitted
• Support on site for quality alert and UVC submission
• Lead/support the update of the CFM practices
SUPPLY CHAIN : Support SAFRAN assembly Module delivery
• Lead and attend to: Weekly meeting with SAE team (supply chain) / SAE module in stock follow up.
• Support GE in configuration changes on Safran hardware
MATERIAL : Spare part Order / SAE Direct shipment in shortage situation / SAE Inventory support
• Orders: SAFRAN spare part replaced on SAE installed module.
• Lead and provide quality documentation for: Direct shipment process (EASA form 1).
• Help on: SAE inventory and parts/module tracking.
But what else? (advantages, specificities, etc.) The position will be based in Cincinnati, with responsibilities spanning several GE sites, including Erlanger, Evendale, and Peebles.
The role will also require close collaboration with the SAE team located in North Point (Seattle).
Candidate skills & requirements The job requires strong oral and written communication skills, excellent relationship and team spirit.
Candidate should be able to make formal presentations to all levels of the organization, customers and peers and react in a highly exposed and tense environment.
Solid knowledge of mechanics and engine functioning are required, as well as technical expertise in engine assembly and maintenance documentations.
The job also requires great availability and flexibility (shift organization, on call support) to accommodate planning constraints & changes.
Leadership, reactivity and organization are key skills for this role.
