Overhead Crane Operator Needed in Roseville, MN
nd Shift Paying up to $27/hr with Union Benefits

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading semis, staging products, and handling materials after they have been cut to length. As part of their development, they will also learn plasma cutting and the operation of a cut-to-length machine. This role is integral in supporting operators with material handling and ensuring efficient order processing for our sheet metal products.
Responsibilities
  • Unload semis and stage products efficiently.
  • Handle materials after they have been cut to length.
  • Support operators by supplying necessary materials.
  • Learn and operate various equipment, including cut-to-length lines and plasma cutters.
  • Contribute to the processing and re-rolling of metal products for shipping.

Work Environment
Our facility is a large industrial warehouse, historically designed for shipbuilding. While the environment is not climate-controlled-being hot in the summer and cold in the winter-the benefits offered by our organization are exceptional. Employees work on a full-time schedule with shifts as follows: 1st Shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and 2nd Shift from 2:20 PM to 12:50 AM, Monday through Thursday. The role includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Training for off-shift employees will occur on the 1st Shift for up to one month. Safety is a priority, with the first day dedicated to safety training and paperwork. Employees must wear steel toe boots with non-detachable metatarsal covers

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.05/hr.
