Pay Range: $55 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills; 80% Backend Development support Java 17
• 20% DeVos experience/CD tool experience, more running and setting up rather than a brandnew build.
• Rest Building APIs that will interact with different databases.
• Spring Boot
• Cloud
• Setting up new application Database experience - Manly oracle or DB2 Querying and attaching's to these databases
• Azure (Azure Service Bus ASB)
• Scripting skills in python
• Security integration using oAuth and LDAP
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 5-8 years of software development experience
• 5+ years total OO development experience
• 4-6 years of Java EE development experience
• Investment/financial services experience is highly desired preferably within the equity compensation space
• A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts.
• Mitigate technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communications, must be able to actively engage other team members
• Understanding of Agile development methodology and exposure to development techniques utilizing Continuous Integration(CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) and DevOps
• Experience or exposure to the concepts and technologies below is desired: Experience with API Manager tools
• Understanding of and experience with Micro-Services Architecture concepts and emerging patterns such as APIs, JAX-RS,REST/JSON
• Application development using Java EE, Spring framework
• Relational databases like DB2 or Oracle, as well as NoSQL databases
• Event driver transaction processing using EAI, ESB and messaging patterns using technologies such as WSO2, ActiveMQ, Tomcat etc.
• Strong scripting skills in any of the following: Python, Groovy, Unix/shell
• Hands-on experience with one or more Observability tools(Datadog, Grafana, Splunk Cloud, etc.)
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, uDeploy, Nexus, Maven etc)
