Overview

We are seeking detailed-oriented individuals who are able to work independently to process high-volume legal matters expeditiously while ensuring compliance with privacy laws, rules of civil procedure, and Google's internal procedures. Selected candidates will help manage the handling of civil Small Claims lawsuits brought by third-party litigants in the US for monetary damages.

This is a vendor role with Highsprings for a client's team, a Fortune 100 company. This position is hybrid at our North Austin location.

Responsibilities

• Triage, index, and organize incoming Civil Small Claim lawsuits against Google.
• Review, analyze, and investigate Small Claim Complaints using internal Google tooling. * Conduct research specific to court jurisdictions to include verbal communication with court clerks. * Investigate claims using internal tooling.
• Draft template or freeform legal responses in defense of Google.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal * Ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks concurrently under deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong and efficient writing skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to professionalism and collegiality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with litigation or regulatory investigations, electronic discovery, technology and/or the internet
• Experience navigating complex internal policies and workflows
• Project or Program Management skills
• Paralegal experience

Schedule Requirements

• Monday to Friday, (Monday and Friday are work from home) Standard business hours
