Job Title: Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Location: Winnemucca NV

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $25 to $40 per hour (Based on experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and self-motivated Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in diagnostics and troubleshooting.

You will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and drivetrains

· Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on trucks and heavy-duty equipment

· Repair and replace engine components, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and more

· Use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve performance issues

· Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings with service managers

· Work independently and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship

· Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations

Requirements:

· 3+ years of experience working on heavy-duty diesel equipment and vehicles

· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with modern diesel systems

· Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software (e.g., Cummins INSITE, CAT ET, etc.)

· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

· Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and minimal need for supervision

· Must have own tools and valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)

· ASE or OEM certifications a plus
