Our Aeronautics Systems sector is currently seeking an Aircraft Structures Mechanic Level 1 to join our operations team, located in Clearfield, UT, working on major assembly structures such as fuselage panels and bulkheads, and structural subassemblies such as rudders, flaps, and stabilizers. Please note: Only external candidates and NG employees who are not currently aircraft structures mechanics at the Clearfield site will be considered under this requisition.
Position Requirements: This position requires no previous knowledge or work history working on aircrafts. The candidate chosen will go through up to 6 weeks of training before hitting the shop floor. From there they will receive close supervision involving detailed and written instructions with checks on work performance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $17.45 - $29.09 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
